I'm a Palestinian writer/director based in Scotland. I hold an MA in Film Directing from the UK.

In 2021, I have written/directed my short film, Go Home, supported by Short Circuit program, funded by Screen Scotland and BFI. Go Home screened at 20+ different festivals in 10 countries including LSFF, GSFF, British Shorts, Dinard, and others.

In 2019, my feature screenplay "The Good Spirit" got selected for development at BellRock Screenwriting Residency funded by Creative Scotland and I took part in BellRock directing lab, led by Guyla Gazdag, the head of Sundance directors lab.

In 2021, I took part in Edinburgh International Film Festival EIFF talent lab, and BFI NETWORK x Crew mentoring programme 2021, mentored by the director Dawn Shadforth.

In 2022, I was a shadowing director on the set of I Hate Suzie Too (Sky & bad wolf productions).

This year, I wrote & directed the short film The Nobody with funds from NFTS and prime video.
